Students in 7th grade science helped middle school art create a model of our solar system by calculating the size of each planet using a scale of 1m on campus = 10,000km in space. Middle school art students researched each planet to identify key features that needed to be included in the mural. Once all the information was collected art students worked out a method for mapping out each planet at the appropriate size. The results are stunning!
